Certificates of Authenticity
There is considerable controversy about "Certificates of Authenticity" for Limited Edition artwork of any description.
To some, they prove that the artwork is genuine while others are more sceptical, knowing how easy this so-called 'proof' is to falsify.
- Our policy is that the original bill of sale, naming the purchaser, is the best proof of the authenticity. Thereafter, any paper trail becomes the responsibility of subsequent owners.
- To this end, we will supply each individual Limited Edition photograph with a receipted bill of sale.
-
If requested at the time of original purchase, this bill of sale can be overprinted with a hand-signed statement naming the original purchaser, stating the unique number and dated. Should this not meet your requirements, please contact us before ordering.
-
We feel that this is the safest way in which we can protect the value of your Limited Edition Railway Photographs.
